Responsibility of participants
The participant understands that during the course of the tour certain events may occur, including, but not limited to:
forces of nature
The participant agrees to assume all risks associated with the tour to the maximum extent permitted by law. Any medical and evacuation expenses incurred due to injury or illness will be the responsibility of the participant. Big Grape Winery Tours reserves the right to refuse a participant entry onto a tour due to medical or fitness grounds.
The participant warrants to having a fitness level to cope with a walking distance of at least 10 kilometers and a bike riding distance of at least 24 kilometers, and a duty to disclose any health issues.
The participant acknowledges that travel on a Big Grape Winery Tours tour requires a degree of flexibility, and understands that the tour’s route and modes of transport are subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances.
Should Big Grape Winery Tours deem it advisable to amend an itinerary for any reason, it may do so by shortening, varying or re-routing any tour. These changes are binding and additional expenses will be charged to the participant if the reason for any major alteration is outside Big Grape Winery Tours control.
It is beyond your control as to which wines the winery offers for tastings on any particular day and the wines listed in our itineraries are an example only.
While traveling with Big Grape Winery Tours tours the participant agrees to accept the authority of Big Grape Winery Tours leader or Big Grape Winery Tours tourist guide at all times. The participant is aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members. The participant understands that Big Grape Winery Tours reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time.
The participant acknowledges that Big Grape Winery Tours works directly with a network of wineries, government agencies and individuals who provide assistance throughout the regions in which the tours are conducted. To the best of Big Grape Winery Tours knowledge, these third parties are qualified to provide such assistance. However, Big Grape Winery Tours will not accept responsibility for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the conduct of these third parties nor will Big Grape Winery Tour accept responsibility or liability for any participant who contravenes any law or regulation.
Cancellation by the participant
Should a participant cancel a Public/Private-tour booking for any reason whatsoever the following fees apply:
Cancellation within 72 hours of the tour date will incur a 50% forfeit of the tour price.
Cancellation less than 24 hours of the tour date will incur a 100% forfeit of the tour price.
Should a group cancel a Private/Public-tour booking for any reason whatsoever once deposit is paid the following fees apply at any time:
Cancellation of any tour booking that's secured by a deposit will incur the lost of that deposit.
Refunds will be at the discretion of Big Grape Winery Tours if the participant is involuntarily forced to leave a tour for any reason.
No refunds will be made for any transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
Transfer bookings are transferable. If you wish to transfer the booking to another person you must notify Big Grape Winery Tours by email. A transfer does not constitute a cancellation.
Cancellation by Big Grape Winery Tours
Big Grape Winery Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour, including a guaranteed tour, prior to departure due to reasons outside its control. In such case, Big Grape Winery Tours may postpone the tour, provide you with an alternative itinerary or refund the tour.
Big Grape Winery Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour if too few people have booked for that departure. In this instance you will be offered an alternative date or tour and if this is unacceptable Big Grape Winery Tours will offer a full refund.
Participants are encouraged to have travel insurance for every active tour taken with Big Grape Winery Tours. This is strongly encouraged for overseas visitors who may not have access to the Australian health care system. The participant’s travel insurance should provide cover against personal accident, medical expenses, emergency repatriation and personal liability.
Due to the nature of the tours, all participants must be over 18 years of age at the date of tour - unless it's a private tour where the minor is accompanied by an adult/parent. It is illegal for participants under the age of 18 to consume alcohol on Big Grape Winery Tours tours.
Prices subject to change without notice. Quoted prices only stand for 48 hours from time of quote.
If you make a group booking for over 10 people and you have paid a deposit. Please note some wineries need to be booked in and some charges for bookings are non refundable once deposit is paid.
